Located in the municipality of Bonassola, the ancient seafaring village of the northern coast of La Spezia, Sabbia d'Oro beach appears to the traveller who notices it in distance, an emerald put between the village with its pastell coloured houses and the deep blue of the Mediteranean Sea. The beach, open towards the sun and very clean, is composed of dark sand as are the cliffs of the hills that surrounds it.
